We keep getting booted out

On every server, there are a number of rooms running at all times. Like your own computer, sometimes a room may lock up and a server reboot is required to reset the system. When this happens, our providers will try to send a two minute warning. Unfortunately, what is a convenient time for a member in one part of the world is very inconvenient in another time.

Also keep in mind, the rooms run on peer-to-peer technology. It is almost like having everyone hold each others' hands during the conference. Every computer is connected to each other in the fashion of a ring. When one of the computers is has a weak connection, our systems will try to connect him directly through the server. But this is not always a successful attempt and the user gets dropped.

When the user is dropped, the system will try to heal the connection ring by attempting to 'catch' the next user who is online. But if that fails too, you'll find several people dropping out at the same time until the system can 'catch' hold of a user with a strong connection.
