Try the following solution
- On your task bar, make sure the RSS Receiver is not running there. If it is, the icon should be on the task bar. You can right click and select Exit, then try uninstalling.
- If it doesn't show up in the task bar and you still have the problem, try Control + Shift + Escape (if on Windows XP). A small window should popup. In the Processes tab, search for Reader.exe. Select it and click End Process to force it to close. Then try uninstalling.
- If both of that didn't work, You can do safely uninstall it by deleting the Enterprising Moms RSS Receiver folder found in C:\Program Files and in your My Documents folder.
